BCDP volunteers, including BC Democratic Women Linda Rudick, Clare Leary, and Denise Donnelly, along with Mike Rush, Mark Allen, and Shelley Allen attended the Juneteenth Festival at the Columbus County Fairgrounds. We shared the booth with the Columbus County Democratic Party, including Chair Franklin Thurman, Karen Thurman, and 2nd Vice Chair Mark Irby.

As fellow District 7 members, we share candidates with Columbus County, including:

Cheri Beasley (U.S. Senate); Charles Graham (U.S. House); Sam Irvin and Lucy Inman (NC Supreme Court); Darren Jackson, Carolyn Thompson, Gale Adams, and Brad Salmon (NC Court of Appeals), and Quintin McGee (District 13 Court, serving Brunswick, Columbus and Bladen).

Two of our candidates, Judge Darren Jackson and Judge Quintin McGee, joined us to meet festival attendees and get out the vote.

Thank you to organizer Shelle Blanks for the hospitality and the great event! We enjoyed the sun, fun, food, music, and camaraderie!
