Before a record-breaking crowd of 230+ witnessed Cheri Beasley's "Standing Up for North Carolina Tour" stop at BCDP headquarters, they got to hear Eric Terashima speak. The Democratic nominee for the North Carolina General Assembly House in Brunswick County's District 17 is a 30-year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, retired. He served eight combat tours, including in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Motivated by his lifetime of service -- and the January 6th Insurrection -- Eric brings a genuine patriot's voice to the race. He has vowed to protect a woman's right to choose, advocate for affordable healthcare and workforce housing, fight for clean drinking water, and support public education. The standing-room-only crowd gave a thundering round of applause to Terashima's impressive message.
