It is with great sadness that BCDP shares the news of the passing of Joseph Willis Butler, who resided in Shallotte. Mr. Butler was tragically killed in a hit-and-run incident on November 29th while trying to assist with a vehicle that had gone into a ditch. Folks in our party will remember Joe as a strong Democrat who was involved in many civic and faith organizations in his 80 years with us.
