Gen. Mark Milley was Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for the last 16 months of Trump’s presidency. America should heed Milley’s warning to legendary Watergate journalist Bob Woodward: “[Trump] is the most dangerous person to this country. A fascist to the core.” Milley is just the latest of many Trump administration insiders to call Trump dangerously unfit to be president.
Mike Pence, Trump’s handpicked Vice President, said, “President Trump demanded that I choose between him and our constitution. Anyone who puts themselves over the constitution should never be president of the United States.” Trump’s second running mate, JD Vance, called him a “moral disaster,” “cultural heroin,” and “America’s Hitler.” Trump is the first presidential nominee not endorsed by ANY President or Vice President of his own party.
Trump’s former aide, Cassidy Hutchinson, said, “Donald Trump is the gravest threat we will face to our democracy in our lifetime, and potentially in American history.”
Trump’s Attorney General, Bill Barr, said, Trump “will always put his own interests, and his own ego, ahead of everything, including the country’s interest.”
Trump’s National Security adviser, John Bolton, said world leaders think Trump is
“a laughing fool.” Bolton called him “unfit to be president.”
Trump’s first Secretary of Defense, Jim Mattis, said Trump had the understanding of “a fifth- or sixth-grader” and was the first president in his lifetime “who does not try to unite the American people—does not even pretend to try.” Mark Esper, Trump’s second Secretary of Defense, called Trump “unfit for office” and “a threat to democracy.”
Trump’s longest-serving Chief-of Staff, Gen. John Kelly, called Trump, “A person that has no idea what America stands for and has no idea what America is all about. A person that has nothing but contempt for our democratic institutions, our Constitution, and the rule of law.”
Fight fascism. Heed the calls. Elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.
