Are you disgusted by our current Ultra-MAGA U.S. Representative, David Rouzer, a Trump acolyte and election denier? Rouzer chose the Insurrection over Democracy by voting against certifying election results for President Biden on January 6th; he appeared with fellow MAGA extremist Ted Budd at Trump's recent lie-fest in Wilmington; and he frequently takes credit for bills he voted against in Congress.
Likewise, are you fed up with Frank Iler, Brunswick County's woefully out-of-touch District 17 General Assemblyman? This man is eager to strip women of their reproductive rights, sponsoring a bill to make abortion illegal after 6 weeks; he cozies up to North Carolina's notoriously bigoted hate-monger, Lt. Governor Mark Robinson; and in spite of being Transportation Chair, he has failed to give the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge replacement the attention it desperately needs.
If you answered "yes" to both questions, please join us to meet their replacements if we all get out and vote!
Charles Graham is the six-term Democratic NC General Assemblyman running to replace David Rouzer and become a true voice for the people of U.S. Congressional District 7. Representative Graham is from Robeson County, now included in District 7 following the redistricting process completed earlier this year. Thus, he is a new face to Brunswick County residents. However, he was the only Democrat elected in Robeson County in 2020 (in fact, he was re-elected for his sixth term), proving he has earned the trust and support of his constituents.
