NC Supreme Court to Hear Gerrymandering Case on Feb. 2

Tomorrow (Wednesday, February 2), the North Carolina Supreme Court will hear our case challenging extreme gerrymandering of the state’s congressional and legislative districts.

You’ll be able to watch our hearing live on the NC Supreme Court’s YouTube channel at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning.

This is a historic moment. For the first time ever in North Carolina, our state’s highest court is taking up a challenge against partisan gerrymandering.

The evidence is clear: the legislature engaged in extreme partisan gerrymandering that would undermine free and fair elections in North Carolina. A victory in our case against gerrymandering would be crucial to ensuring we have fair voting districts for all North Carolinians.

We are confident that the people of North Carolina will prevail in our fight for fair maps.

We’ll continue to keep you updated on our case. Thanks for your support.
