School Board candidate Cameron Hankins
Thank you to Southport 2 Precinct Chair Emma Myles and fellow Southport area members for hosting a successful candidate Meet and Greet at the International Longshoremen Hall on Sunday, October 2.
The audience heard from School Board candidates Dr. William ("Bill") Flythe and Rev. Cameron Hankins, and from District 13 Court Judge candidate (for re-election), Judge Quintin McGee. Dr. Flythe also provided pertinent voter information to the attendees.

Early Voting begins October 20. You still have time to register to vote: visit iwillvote.com. The deadline to register is October 14. But, during Early/One-Stop Voting, you can register to vote and vote at the same time, same day! Here are the details from the Brunswick County Board of Elections:
"If a Brunswick County resident misses the voter registration deadline and has been a resident of the county for 30 days prior to the election, they may go to any early voting site to register and vote the same day. The individual will be required to provide acceptable proof of residence before they can become registered. Notice to Same Day Registrants provides more details, including a list of acceptable proof of residence documents. Same day registration is only available during early voting; it is not available on Election Day."
VOTE BLUE IN '22. OUR DEMOCRACY DEPENDS ON YOU!
