The Brunswick County Democratic Party can only continue growing with your support. And it has to grow.
In recent years, local Democrats have told us time and again how pleased they were there’s an organization that shared their values. Now, it’s time to take the next step. We need more volunteers to show their support by coming to the aid of our party.
BCDP is taking the time and resources to build relationships with organizations in our community. We’re establishing our brand so that people who associate with us know where we stand. When we volunteer to assist another organization, sponsor an event, or make a donation, we make sure it’s recognized as a party event, publicized on the organization’s website and social media platforms as well as our own. We also assist in publicizing the event with the media.
For the new year, we’re asking you to join us by being as involved in your community as possible. Gearing up for the important battles in 2023 and beyond, we need voters to know we care about them and are listening to them year-round — not just during get-out-the-vote campaigns.
There are plenty of ways to get involved. Here are a few suggestions:
Get more active with your local precinct. If you don’t know how, contact us.
Work with your precinct chair to sponsor events or activities.
Volunteer to staff our BCDP tent or table at local events.
2023 is an election year in many of our county’s municipalities. Let us know who’s running in your municipality’s elections this year, and we’ll let you know if the candidate(s) are Democrats or Democrat-leaning unaffiliated.
What are the local issues in your area? Does it make sense for the BCDP to get involved directly, or behind the scenes? If so, let us know.
Convince friends and neighbors to get them engaged in volunteer efforts, advocacy, and other Democratic activities.
Host a day of service in your municipality.
Encourage your like-minded friends and neighbors to sign up for our newsletter.
Make sure to keep us posted on your activities. And take pictures so we can give you credit for your support.
